Clothed by Grace: Finding Hope Beyond Eden

Genesis 3 reminds us that sin did not simply affect one moment in history—it affected everything. God’s judgment upon Adam and Eve explains why the world no longer functions as it once did. Marriage experiences conflict. Motherhood is accompanied by sorrow. Work becomes frustrating. Creation itself groans. Death enters every generation. The brokenness we experience every day is not the way God originally designed the world to be.

When Eden Closed, Redemption Began

Genesis 3 concludes one of the most tragic chapters in all of Scripture. Humanity’s rebellion against God has unleashed devastating consequences that extend into every sphere of life. Marriage is now marked by conflict. Motherhood by sorrow. Work by frustration. Creation itself groans under the weight of the Fall. Death enters human history. And finally, Adam and Eve are expelled from the Garden of Eden, never to return.
